Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 (2016 - 2024)

The sixth-generation Camaro ZL1 revived one of Chevrolet’s most serious performance badges for the modern track-car era. With a supercharged V8, aggressive aerodynamics and chassis tuning developed with road-course use in mind, it was far more than a straight-line muscle car.

Its importance comes from showing how far the American pony car had evolved. The ZL1 could still deliver the theatre expected from a Camaro, but it also had the brakes, tyres and suspension sophistication to challenge European performance coupes on circuits, especially in 1LE form.
