Dodge Viper RT/10 (1992 - 1995)

The first Viper R/T 10 was deliberately raw. It had a huge V10 engine, side-exit exhausts, minimal weather protection and very little of the electronic assistance that was becoming common in performance cars. It was closer in spirit to a modern Cobra than a polished grand tourer.

That roughness was the point. Dodge used the Viper to announce that American performance could still be outrageous, simple and intimidating. Its long bonnet, short cabin and uncompromising character made it one of the defining poster cars of the 1990s.
