Ferrari 246 GT Dino (1969 - 1974)

The Dino 246 GT is one of Ferrari’s most graceful designs, even though it was originally sold under the Dino marque rather than wearing Ferrari badges in the conventional way. Created to honour Enzo Ferrari’s son Alfredo “Dino” Ferrari, it used a mid-mounted V6 instead of the company’s traditional V12.

That difference is exactly why the Dino matters. It opened Ferrari’s road-car story to smaller, lighter mid-engined machines and proved that character did not depend on cylinder count alone. Its flowing bodywork and balanced handling have made it one of the most loved Italian sports cars of its era.
