Ford Ranger Raptor (2022 - 2025)

The Ranger Raptor brought desert-racing attitude into the mid-size ute segment. Developed by Ford Performance, it focused less on towing numbers and more on suspension travel, chassis control and rough-road speed, giving the Ranger a very different identity from a conventional work ute.

The second-generation version added a twin-turbo V6 in many markets, making it far more forceful than the original diesel model. Its significance in Australia is clear: it turned the dual-cab ute, already a dominant vehicle type, into something with genuine performance-car theatre.
