Honda RC213V (2012)

The Honda RC213V-S was Honda’s attempt to turn its MotoGP RC213V into a road-legal machine. Announced in 2015, it drew directly from the bike that had won MotoGP world championships in 2013 and 2014, with Honda modifying the race platform just enough to make it usable on public roads.

That made the RC213V-S one of the closest links between MotoGP and a production motorcycle ever offered to private buyers. Its limited availability, extraordinary price and optional sports kit reinforced the sense that this was not a normal superbike, but a hand-built HRC object for collectors and extremely committed riders.
