Suzuki Hayabusa (2008 - 2021)

The second-generation Hayabusa carried forward one of the most famous names in high-speed motorcycling. The original 1999 GSX1300R had become a symbol of the top-speed arms race, and the 2008 redesign had the difficult job of modernising that legend without losing the distinctive silhouette that owners had embraced.

Suzuki enlarged and refined the engine to 1340cc, updated the chassis, brakes and bodywork, and kept the bike’s identity as a long, stable, aerodynamic hyperbike. Even as superbikes became lighter and more electronics-focused, the Gen 2 Hayabusa remained beloved for its immense torque, road presence and long-distance speed.
