Audi R8 (2019 - 2024)

The R8 was Audi’s move from fast executive cars into the supercar world, and it worked because it felt exotic without being fragile or theatrical for the sake of it. Sharing engineering DNA with Lamborghini but wearing a cleaner, more technical Audi suit, the R8 made a mid-engined layout feel usable in everyday driving.

By the later V10 generation, the R8 had become a celebration of naturally aspirated performance at a time when supercars were moving toward turbocharging and electrification. Its final production in 2024 gave the model extra significance as one of the last high-revving, big-displacement European supercars of its kind.
