Ferrari F40 (1987 - 1992)

The F40 was Ferrari’s 40th-anniversary statement and the last new Ferrari launched under Enzo Ferrari’s lifetime. It rejected luxury in favour of light weight, turbocharged power and a raw driving experience, with exposed carbon-Kevlar weave, simple trim and intense performance.

Its reputation comes from being both brutally fast and unusually honest for a supercar of its era. The F40 was not designed to isolate the driver; it was designed to make speed feel mechanical, noisy and physical. That purity has made it one of Ferrari’s most revered modern models.
