Ford Falcon XE S-Pack (1982 - 1984)

The XE Falcon S-Pack offered a sportier look and feel during an era when Australian performance cars had become more restrained. It used striping, wheels, suspension tuning and trim to give the mainstream Falcon a more youthful identity without becoming a full GT-style homologation special.

The XE itself was important as the final Falcon sedan with traditional leaf-spring rear suspension before later generations changed direction. The S-Pack captures a transitional moment: after the classic muscle years, before the rebirth of high-output local performance sedans.
