Honda S600 (1964 - 1966)

The Honda S600 was one of Honda’s first sports cars and an early sign that the company’s motorcycle engineering culture could translate into automobiles. Its small, high-revving engine, chain-drive rear suspension and lightweight body gave it a character unlike most 1960s roadsters.

The S600 matters because it predates Honda’s global performance reputation. Long before the NSX, Type R models or VTEC legends, this tiny roadster showed Honda’s fascination with revs, precision and clever engineering in a compact package.
