Kawasaki Ninja H2R Supercharged (2015 - present)

The Kawasaki Ninja H2R was created to be excessive by design. Unveiled as a track-only machine, it used a supercharged 998cc inline-four developed with input from across Kawasaki Heavy Industries, including aerospace and turbine expertise. The result was a production motorcycle that pushed well beyond normal superbike power expectations.

Its significance lies in the way it revived forced induction for the modern era. The H2R was less about practicality than engineering theatre: carbon aero pieces, trellis frame, mirror-like paint and the distinctive supercharger sound all made it feel closer to a factory technology demonstrator than a conventional motorcycle.
