Lockheed C-130 Hercules

The C-130 Hercules is the rare military aircraft whose name has become shorthand for dependable utility. First flown in the 1950s, it was designed to operate from rough, short airstrips while carrying troops, vehicles or cargo into places conventional transports could not easily reach.
