Lotus Esprit (1976 - 2004)

The Lotus Esprit brought Giorgetto Giugiaro’s wedge design language to Lotus’s lightweight sports-car philosophy. Its mid-engined layout, sharp edges and low stance gave the small British company a supercar silhouette without abandoning the brand’s focus on handling and efficiency.

The Esprit evolved dramatically over nearly three decades, from four-cylinder early cars to later turbocharged and V8 versions. Its long life, Bond-film fame and distinctive design make it one of Lotus’s most recognisable models.
