Nissan Skyline GTR R32 (1989 - 1994)

The R32 Skyline GT-R revived the GT-R badge after a long absence and quickly earned the nickname “Godzilla” because of its dominance in touring-car racing. Its RB26 twin-turbo engine, ATTESA all-wheel drive and sophisticated chassis gave it a huge technical advantage.

In Australia, the R32’s Group A success made it famous and controversial, especially as it challenged the local V8 order. Its importance is enormous: it redefined the GT-R name and became one of the most influential Japanese performance cars ever built.
